We are extremely excited to add MEC machines to our rental fleet, but we also provide owners of vintage MEC units on-site service, preventative maintenance, annual inspections and OSHA compliance performed by knowledgeable and experienced mechanics working out of Titan offices in both Byron Center and Lansing.” Titan Equipment is a locally owned and operated, full-service aerial lift and rough-terrain forklift supplier in Byron Center and Lansing, Mich. New rough terrain forklift from Genie is becoming very popular among contractorsThe majority of the contractors out there are very familiar with Rough Terrain Telehandlers i.e. Pettibones, SkyTraks, Terex, etc… Few of them however even know that there is another option on the market now that offers some very distinct advantages over the “full size” handlers. Genie has recently introduced a new product that has continued to gain popularity as the contractors have become aware of its existence. The two models are the GTH 5519 and the GTH6622. What makes them unique is their size. The 5519 weighs only 9900 lbs. and can therefore be hauled around behind most pick up trucks. It’s overall width is only 5’11” so it is perfect for those “tight” applications where space is limited and the full size machines are just too big and bulky. The 5519 has a maximum vertical reach of 19’. It will pick an impressive 5500lbs. and will take 2600 lbs. to 19’. With a wide variety of attachments that can be changed by the operator without getting out of the cab, this is a very versatile machine.Click here for more information or for a closer look at the spec sheet of these machines New parts manager and mezzanine addition allows for huge increase in parts inventoryMarch 2007 We have recently added more capacity to our infrastructure to allow for a substantial increase in the amount of parts that we carry in house. Titan has always taken pride in having the right parts for our customers at the right time. When you have to wait a day or days for the part to be “shipped in” it creates downtime. We recognize this and in an effort to keep you up and running we are stocking more parts now than we ever have before. We also recognize that not everyone owns a machine that is one or two years old. For the older machines it is important to have someone that is very knowledgeable and experienced. That’s why the addition of John Westerling to our team is going to be of value to you. John has worked in the parts business since 1989 when he was at Gordon Services based out of Grand Rapids. While there he worked with equipment companies all over the country and sold parts to them for all different makes and models of manlifts. He was there for 10 years when he went to work for Grand Hi-Reach ( which later became NES ). He spent another 8 years there, again in the parts side of the business, before joining Titan just a few months ago.You won’t find a more knowledgeable or more experienced parts guy. Call him the next time you need help with a machine. Titan announces new location in Lansing!September 2006 We are excited to announce that we have opened a new operation in the Lansing market. In September of 2006 Jay Gruber joined Titan Equipment and will be the owner/operator of that store. This will allow us to better serve our current customers that travel to the east side of the state for work, as well as allow us growth opportunity in a new area. Jay has been in this market for more than 10 years- all in the man lift business. In the short 6 months since the store has opened, Titan has already become the largest man lift company in that market with the greatest market share in the area due to good people and a premium level of service. |
